Job Description:
The Operator shall be responsible for safely operating construction equipment and machinery according to project requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and safety regulations. The Operator ensures efficient execution of tasks while minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment in good working condition, and adhering to safety standards on-site.
The Operator shall:

Operate construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, bulldozers, loaders, concrete pumps, or other heavy equipment.

Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe and functional.

Maintain accurate logs of machine usage, maintenance, and fuel consumption.

Follow project plans and instructions from the Foreman or Project Engineer.

Adhere strictly to safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Report any mechanical issues, damages, or malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor.

Assist in site preparation, material movement, and other related tasks as needed.

Participate in routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs of equipment.

Coordinate with other site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.
Job Qualifications:
The Operator shall possess the following qualifications:

High School Diploma or Vocational/Technical course in Heavy Equipment Operation or related field.

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience operating construction equipment in a project or industrial setting.

Valid operator’s license or certification for relevant machinery is preferred.

Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and operational instructions.

Physically fit and able to work under site conditions.

Reliable, responsible, and disciplined in following safety protocols.

Good communication and coordination skills with site team and supervisors.
