Job Description:
The Warehouseman shall be responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing construction materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures. The Warehouseman ensures that all materials are properly labeled, inventoried, and safely handled to maintain order and efficiency in the warehouse or project site storage area. He shall also assist in tracking deliveries and maintaining accurate inventory records to support ongoing project operations.
The Warehouseman shall:

Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders or delivery receipts.

Ensure all received items are properly labeled, recorded, and stored in designated locations.

Issue materials and tools to authorized personnel based on approved requisition slips.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, logs, and reports.

Monitor stock levels and report low or critical inventory to the Project Engineer or Procurement Officer.

Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure all materials are properly accounted for.

Implement and maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.

Safely handle and secure materials, tools, and equipment to prevent loss or damage.

Coordinate with site personnel regarding material requests and replenishments.

Assist in logistics, loading/unloading, and documentation as needed.
Job Qualifications:
The Warehouseman shall possess the following qualifications:

Vocational or Technical Course graduate; a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields is an advantage.

Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control—preferably in the construction industry.

Knowledge of inventory systems, material handling, and warehouse operations.

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software, or Google Sheets).

Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Physically fit and capable of lifting or moving construction materials.

Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Strong communication and coordination skills with project and procurement teams.

Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
