Job Description:
The Unskilled Worker shall be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople and site personnel in various construction-related tasks. They provide support in handling materials, preparing the work area, and performing general labor duties under supervision. The role is essential for maintaining workflow efficiency, site organization, and adherence to safety standards.
The Unskilled Worker shall:

Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and tools on-site.

Prepare and clean the work area, including debris removal and site organization.

Support skilled workers (carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as needed.

Operate simple tools and equipment under supervision, if required.

Follow instructions from Foremen, Leadmen, or Engineers.

Adhere to safety regulations and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tools, equipment, and work areas.

Assist in basic tasks such as mixing materials, digging, lifting, and measuring.

Report any hazards, unsafe practices, or incidents to supervisors.
Job Qualifications:
The Unskilled Worker shall possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Elementary or High School education.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Honest, hardworking, and reliable.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Awareness of basic safety practices on construction sites.

Willing to be assigned to different project sites as required.
